How to Patch YouTube With Morphe

Patch YouTube step by step: match the target app file, pick Simple or Expert mode, run the patch, and install the patched copy.

Before You Patch

Start with the right target app file. Patch bundles support specific versions of YouTube, and a file built for another version gets most of its patches skipped. Check the supported versions shown inside the patcher, get the matching file, and only then start the patch run. This page is part of the Morphe patcher patching collection.

Decide the mode before you start. Simple mode patches with curated defaults and suits a first patch. Expert mode lists every patch and suits patchers who know exactly which patches they want, including ad blocking, background playback and SponsorBlock.

Running the Patch

Open the patcher, pick YouTube, and select the target app file you prepared. In Simple mode, tap patch and wait. In Expert mode, work through the patch list, switch on the patches you want, set any options those patches offer, and then run the patch. The progress screen shows the run step by step, and a normal run finishes in a minute or two.

When the patch finishes, the installer prompt appears. Install the patched copy, which lands alongside the original YouTube app with its own icon. If the patched app needs sign in, install MicroG RE first and sign in inside the patched app.

For the next step, see How to Patch YouTube Music With Morphe in the guides, which continues this setup from where this page leaves off.

Testing the Result

Test with one short video before anything else. Check that ads are gone, that playback continues with the screen off if you enabled background play, and that SponsorBlock skips segments if you enabled it. One good video proves the patch set, and one bad video tells you which patch to revisit.

If the patch run skipped most patches, the target app file was the problem, not the patcher. Match the file version and patch again. If the patched copy refuses to install, remove any older patched copy signed with a different key first.

Conclusion

Match the file, pick a mode, patch, install, and test one video. That loop is the whole YouTube patching job, and every fix for a failed run starts by checking the file version first.
